I am visually impaired and am looking for things I can do at home to suppliment my income or even become my main income. I am a fast learner and am open more to what you have done through experience. What has been successful for you?

Honestly? MLM. I have residual income without lifting a pinky finger after working it for 6 years. I recently joined another MLM for travel purposes, so that my family can fly for free and receive profit.

Not MLM? I don’t know of any other way.

Please do not name your product or service or advertise, but if you could share a truthful and positive experience to reinforce that network marketing overall is a great business, it would really help people to see that network marketing is a sound method of earning money.

have worked part time in mlm and have been able to reduce my debts enough to come to work out of the house. however i did approach this as a business person and as a stand alone ‘shop’. those who have joined with me accept the concept of customers first with results, loyal customers (clients) with referrals 2nd, pro-consumers 3rd, independent (distributors) business people 4th.
the average person can stop a divorce or bankruptcy with an extra 500$ a month and qualify for tax breaks that the working (paycheck) poor don’t get. they don’t get it.

& does it have to be a MLM?

Work at home is now a trend for many types of occupations.
There are doctors, lawyers, accountants and many others that work at home.

I think than the best work at home business, is the one that give you the opportunity to do what you like, when you like it, and to earn money.

I quited my regular job few years ago, and am working in a home based business. That means that my wife and myself are using our home as the business location, and saving rent, taxes and more. The best part is that we have time for the family, and for doing the things that we really like.

Work at home does not have to be MLM business. There are many work at home business/jobs that pays by the hour or by any other parameter (envelops, letters, typed words, etc.).
However, MLM based business with a real company with records of success, is easier to do thanks to the following reasons:
1) These kind of company are working with many work at home people, so they are built to work like that.
2) The companies provide excellent training programs for those who are open to learn new skills, and willing.
3) In MLM based business, you usually have a sponsor, that shall be very interested in your success, and will do as much as it take to help you to succeed.

I am an independent consultant for a skin care company and would like information or suggestions on how to advertise my products and sign people up to sell with me? Its not a mlm company and the products are wonderful. Thank you.

I know that I have to pay income tax on my profits from product sold, but what about my profit from recruiting? Also, will I be paying both income, and self-employment tax?

You will be required to pay tax on the net from all income from this activity. You are subject to both income tax and Self Employment tax. The good news is that very few people ever make any money in an MLM so your tax won’t be so bad.

Is there anyone that is willing to share a source for different kind of wholesalers for things that people would sell on ebay ? Such as watches, small electronics, novelty items, DVDs, CDs, .. etc. Please, don’t send me links to MLM business sites.. I am not looking for that. Only actual lists of wholesale suppliers to purchase small items from that I could sell on Ebay. Also, is there a link to make money by having advertisements on your web page with Yahoo .. or other advertising to make money on the web. Thank you.

Seems like everyone is asking this question nowadays.

All the money I make online comes from GPT (get paid to) sites. It’s the best and easiest method in my opinion, since you just sign up and start making money.

If you narrow your target group down to "mlm" to find home biz seekers or "beauty" to promote a product, how effective is this method of advertising? If you have done this what is your average conversion rate. Sales/sign ups vs. visitors purchased? Any who have had success with this ,what companies do you recommend buying traffic from?

i want agree with the first post… to maximize your purchased traffic direct them to a sign up page… that waay they aren’t just passing through your website.. give them something of value that refusing it would be crazy and you will get sign up for sure

I’m largely confined to home for health reasons but still need to earn a decent income. My computer skills are pretty good but I don’t have much for an initial investment. Any suggestions?

I suggest starting your own home based business. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. Most home based businesses have training programs to teach you the trade and help you get started. I don’t know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six (we have four children).
My husband is disabled and he’s able to do this, so I’m sure you can too.

I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business’s. There’s over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that’s interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.

They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satallite tv, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses or has one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they’re most likely already using, if not you can offer them the service, and everytime they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It’s incredible how much money is involved in this industry.

Another thing you can do is get involved in the candle industry. I have a friend that has that in her own home based business and makes candles and does fundraisers for schools as well as for non-profit organizations. She does really well. I do network marketing. And first I would say that without a product that it out there in the open, your chances of success are not that great. You are only going to get those folks who are suckered into trying something sight unseen and they will instantly be disappointed and go on to something else. Yes, you can make cash, but it is a hard way to do it and as soon as the method is discovered, your leads dry up. I only deal with two companies. And I deal with them because they #1 have a great product that actually provides some benefit and people want it #2 they provide great support #3 the average person who wants to really try can make it work and doesn’t have to invest a lot. Your site is a replicated site I have seen many times and would pass up because it is a get rich quick type of thing.
