Can anyone tell me some successful strategies and tactics for choosing and marketing a MLM business.?
My goal is to have two other streams of income from home businesses by end of year. Not so much looking for product or service idea, but stories from the trenches from people who who have had various degrees of success in launching a multilevel marketing company.
Pax,
For me being successful has been asking lots of questions (like yourself) before you go in to it. What do you get for your start up costs??
Also ask people first hand about their success. (I have met them personally and can speak to them any time daily)
Love the product. If you can speak personally from experience about the products and what it’s done for you –
people will enjoy that.
Never push – follow up gently and grow thick skin.
Hopefully you have your family/friends support your initial phase, have patience – and it will pay off.
Do u want to earn a residual income with recession proof products?
Its is not MLM.
No, I prefer to wallow in my own filth and waste my time with stupid internet trolls.
Do you think Network Market’g/ MLM job could land you with 1million dollar as long term job?
job,business,mlm, network, network marketing,biz,million dollars,million, trillion,billion,permanent, temporal job, side income, income,salary
Most definately. I make a great income from my internet business. I do mostly affiliate work, but if you’re willing to put in time and effort the rewards are great. I have free information on my website. www.megaearnings247.com Check it out. The articles are free and you can even sign up for a free ebook that has great information in it. Of course there are links to my affiliate sites, but just go there and check out the free stuff, you just might find the information helpfull
I wish to have a second income working from home, any good sugggestions plse?
no selling or mlm’s
Dave,
You could build a website and/or blog around some of your interests and set up advertising through them. This does not require any selling. It just requires you to invest time into building an income.
BEST WISHES!
MLM/Network Marketing? Does success come at the expense of others?
To be successful in the industry of MLM/Networking you have to accept the fact that the design of the marketing plan is set up to attract the naive. Right or wrong?
You are taught that less is more when spreading the word.
To build business, do you have to accept that many fail by design? (Many independent stats show 97% or higher)
Are the trainings set up to teach taking advantage of others?
For example, not giving full information and targeting peoples needs for extra income. Many times MLM/Network Marketing creates new buying habits for the hope or chance of financial freedom yet less then 3% ever experience profit from participation.
I am one of those who went from a tragic MLM experience to the next for several years now. I used to have a lot of faith in the system, and lots of motivation in the early 90’s. Back in Europe i went with Schwartz for a few months, and didn’t make anything, actually i ended up losing over a thousand the first month, between travelling costs, openings and meetings, with fees ranging between 50 and 200 US dollars. I think i still have some of those tapes and video cassettes. For a while i thought i was simply not cut out for the system. I tried Amway for a number of years, then Herbalife. I moved to Australia for a while and there i decided to try Network21, which had considerably lower start-up costs than in Europe.
After almost 10 years of pulling out and getting sucked back in, i finally resolved that you can slice and dice any mlm system as hard as you want, but still it will never give you the result you want OR the results advertised.
Sorry folks, but a decent day-job will beat any of these mlm schemes any day of the week.
HELP! My MLM upline is telling me something I am not sure is right?
I want to know opinions from people in MLM in regards to what my upline is telling me. My company sells a service that I sell by phone. I have a background in phone sales and thus I have been able to make a decent (but meager) income selling the service myself.
Now my upline is telling me that I should be focusing my time on recruiting others to sell as oppose to personal sales. The idea behind it is that I am never going to get rich just selling the product, and so I must recruit others.
I am personally torn, as to focus any attention on recruiting would mean I would sacrifice some income that I am making in my personal sales.
What do you suggest I do? Is my upline right, that I should shift my focus to building a downline as oppose to sales?
You do what YOU want to do. Your upline is just thinking about THEIR money. The more you recruit, the more money they get.
If you are comfortable not having a downline, don’t have a downline. Do what makes you happy!
I’m thinking of rejoining the MLM business but I HATE chasing people..?
I’m thinking of rejoining the MLM industry to suppliment my fixed income but I HATE chasing people and I HATE vitamins and other health and wellness products and FYI I’ve done Direct Matches and GDI..I’m looking for something simple, reasonably priced and has a unique product or service and again I WON’T COLD CALL OR CHASE PROSPECTS! I’m very happy making $50 to $100 dollars a week.
Don’t waste your time. Unless you have the willingness to devote 100s+ hours into recruiting more people like you, you won’t even make that $50 – $100 you’re looking for.
any successful people whant to teach me how to make money without a job?
i know there are ways to make money without a job. I would like to here some success stories, or someone to teach me how they did. i am eager to learn and a fast learner. i am also highly self motivated, just dont know which direction to point myself. i would like to start something part-time and build it up to a full time income. please no mlm or scams and rather it not be online work. something along the lines of small business or real estate i can start with little money. i have excellent credit and some cash and equity in my home.WILL someone please help me break this cycle in my family where you go to work evryday and make someone else rich for pennies and die broke.please. i dont want to hear from all you negative unmotivated people who havent done something like this.if you havent started a business or made money on the side keep your opinions to your self. i have enough negative people in my family who are unmotivating.
Try ebay… I started it last year and my account has really grown. Like for a part time job I made 500 to 850 dollars a week. Try it, its free!!
Has anyone been an Arbonne Consultant, or been involved in any MLM business?
I am considering getting into the business in order to stay home with my baby (due in March). I’m not looking to become rich or anything, I just want something to supplement my husband’s income. I have heard lots of negatives of Multi-level- marketing, though. Any opinions on the subject? Or any other suggestions for working from home?
I am an Area Manager with Arbonne and have been building my business since March in WA. It has been the best decision I have made. It definitely takes commitment and work but if you follow a duplicatable system it is worth it. I recovered my initial investment after my second month it has fulfilled the reason I chose it to be home with my kids. I am very excited about the products and the opportunity and looking forward to soon becoming an RVP.
I took the time to research the company. There are many MLM’s that work you to the bone and you get nothing in return. I found with Arbonne that you’re success is not dictated by the person above you nor is your income. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Based on your individual efforts you can pass your sponsor which I am about to do.
I truly believe that it is a phenomenal way to stay home and to be distributing products that I know are phenomenal are making a difference in people’s overal health and sell themselves.
I would, however, recommend staying away from the home party plan and selling at retail. Build your business by stepping over the dollar to reach for the dime by this I mean set yourself up to earn a residual income. Do the work once and get paid continually by setting people up with their own wholesale online account where they can order for themselves at a discount and then you get paid every time.
Does anyone know of a legit online distributorship opportunity?
Not a get rich quick scheme, something along the lines of AVON, MaryKay in which you buy beginning products, they set up your website and you go from there?? I’m just looking for something to do on the computer and make a little extra income. No MLM’s or Telemarketing please. Thanks!!
Anything along the lines of Avon and MK are in fact MLM’s. It’s how you work them that counts. Pretty much anything where you begin buying their products, they set up your website and provide the tools to help you market would fall into the MLM category.
I have 3 of them and one is done mainly on the computer. I don’t carry a product (you can’t with this one), but I do distribute the product via the web. Sounds confusing, I know, but Yahoo has rules and restrictions on how much we can say.
I too wanted to earn a little income, a car payment actually, and ended up earning a house payment and more. It’s all determined by whether you can see the potential, see how others can benefit from it and most importantly, believe it. If those things are in place, it’s no longer a job, it’s fun and you earn money doing it.
Sorry if this came out all confusing.
